The Winter Room creates
the feel of stepping into the Olympic era. Antique ice skates, skis and
snowshoes give the room an authentic Adirondack touch. There are pewter
figurines and pictures that commemorate the events of the winter Olympics.
The snowflake décor and icy painted walls glimmer when the sun shines
through the skylight, making you feel rejuvenated with a breath of fresh
mountain air. You can cuddle up in a pillow top queen sized iron bed. An
electric woodstove-like fireplace can add a few degrees of warmth. There
is a cool, blue bath with a claw foot tub that reflects the furnishings
of the bedroom. In this room, winter feels good!
