We are conveniently located just south of the village of Schroon Lake.
It is minutes from the town beach, docks, golf course, ice rink, hiking
trails and a boat launch. The village offers many casual restaurants, a
summer musical theater (The Seagle Memorial Theater), a
seasonal movie theater, churches, and craft, gift and antique shops.
Schroon Lake is
the site of the Adirondack Marathon in the early
fall. Marathoners, joggers, bikers and walkers will be pleased with the
picturesque scenery as they navigate our wide-shouldered roads.
In the winter,
Schroon Lake is the perfect place for snowmobiling, snow shoeing, cross
country skiing and ice fishing. We are also a short trip away from Lake
George, Lake Placid, the Adirondack Museum, Fort
Ticonderoga, Gore
Mountain, West Mountain (ski areas) and
Vermont.
The spring creates
a mecca for the white water enthusiast and trout fishermen.
Come enjoy it all
at the Tumble Inn. You deserve a vacation!

The Adirondack
Park was created in 1882 by the NY State Legislature and includes 6
million acres of public and private land. The Park is part of the
Canadian Shield which are relative young mountains born as a result of
uplift, followed by etching and carving by glaciers. The mountains
continue to grow at a rate of 1.5 millimeters annually! The Adirondacks
is home to over 130,000 New Yorkers with 105 towns and villages. It is
the most unusual park in the US with its special untouched forest,
thousands of ponds and lakes, wilderness trails and spectacular
mountains! The following are links to help you plan your Adirondack
